Relevant diploma level specialist training or equivalent Back to Top Midwives Band 6 Proven experience of midwifery care to women with normal and/or complicated pregnancies; Theatre and/or home birth experience. Must have successfully completed a 12 month foundation gateway. Back to Top Midwifery Team Leaders Band 7 At least 4 years proven post registration experience of midwifery care to women with normal and/or complicated pregnancies; Theatre and/or home birth experience. At least 2 years experience within the field of assignment. Qualifications: RM Registered Midwife, active NMC registration will be verified. Evidence of continued professional development. Knowledge of adult and neonatal resuscitation training and training/skills drills in obstetric Must have undertaken a minimum of 35 hours of learning activity during the 3 year period prior to the renewal of registration. ENB 997 or equivalent. Advanced Life Support in Obstetrics. Back to Top Theatre Assistants Band 4 At least 2 years proven experience of caring for patients in Anaesthetics, Theatre or Recovery (Adult or Paediatric). Qualifications: Knowledge of theatre procedures / protocols including surgical assistance, clinical observations acquired through NVQ3. Additional training and experience in theatres or equivalent. If newly qualified (within the last year) evidence that a preceptorship programme has been completed successfully. Qualifications: Registered on the appropriate part of the NMC register for the assignment (will be verified) RN (Adult)/ RN1/RN2, RN (Child) / RN8 Registered Nurse Back to Top Theatre Nurse Band 6 At least 2 years proven post registration experience of working in Anaesthetics, Theatre or Recovery. Qualifications: Registered on the appropriate part of the NMC register for the assignment (will be verified) RN (Adult)/ RN1/RN2.
